Got a tip from a couple of anglers at Lake Henshaw about Lake Skinner...So, Matt and I decided to give it a try...Lots of long casts with heavy lures, but fun for even this old guy...We had a couple of blow ups on spooks, couple that came unbuttoned with rippin' Rapala's, and caught a couple on big Rattle Traps...The amount of small largemouth is incredible...Caught 'em till we were tired of catching dinks.................

ps....The lake looks great and there was only one other boat fishing next to us.........

Nice job! Used to fish there a couple of times each year. Trolling umbrella rigs works well there too, but not as much fun.

Trolled the $hit out of them and never got bit Friday...2 summers ago, we couldn't keep them off...Now, 2 years in a row without a bump.....

They’re onto the umbrella rig! The umbrella eaters have been weeded out of the Skinner gene pool I guess lol.
