Now I know this does not compare to Random of LP's shots, but it was a 47 yard up hill shot. He was standing up looking dead away from me, and I got very lucky and hit him under the arm and out the chest.
Not bad. I'm glad to see someone else likes the fine art of ground squirrel hunting. My wife gets pretty upset when ever I take one of them out. "They are soo cute....." But she will take out a quail or a rabbit no problem. I got one a few weeks ago with a 35 yard 12g shot. Some time we get "lucky" but we all know its straight up skill.
