Stay informed, Bobcat Regs up at Commission Meeting

This is really something sad that has just gone on. One of the new commissioners put it very well. He said he is a hunter and believes in hunting for food. One of the reason he agreed on the ban was because he didn't believe that trapping for the fur trade was a good reason to trap.

He said he didn't believe in it. Commercial hunting hasn't been allowed for years. Many people look at the recreation lic for trapping as a commercial lic because they can sell the fur. (BUT they don't sell commercial lic. they only have recreational and pest control). This option of selling the meat or something from hunting/fishing isn't a option for hunters or fisherman. So many hunters see trappers as making money and don't agree to this option. This is what the new commissioner sad today but in his own words....

We have to understand some people don't look at things the same as other. Trapping was looked at in a very bad way in this state and the 3 commissioners made it heard today they didn't agree with trapping for the fur trade. Which is what they felt the fur was being used for.

I love the part where they both said they didn't want to stop someone for making a living.......one of the many lies.......glad CBH Pres talked last buy they slammed him over the lack of science comment

Can't fix stupid.....

And so goes the way of California, what's the next ban.. What does that new commissioner hunt flies in his house maybe..
