Well it has been a while since I have hunted Mtn and this is one of the reasons. I have been hunting other areas in the county for the last number of years just to get away from the people.

Well tonight I shot up to the mtn to look at my camera's and my 3 stands. Well 2 stands are okay. The third stand everything was gone except the stand which I locked luckily.

They also took my camera.

You have to be willing to walk away from you stuff when you put it out in the public area but it still hurts.

I have had many camera's out year around for years and have seen so many amazing animals and have never had an issue. Now I go back to the mtn and bang it happens.

Just thought I would share my frustration. You don't have like what we do, but do you really need to steal everything ???

Wheels,

I have always had that fear from hearing all the stories such as yours. But it is one of those inherent risks with leaving our property up on public land. Well hopefully karma comes back and bites the thieves in the arse.

Up at LMRA in SD the tree huggers will steal and damage your gear. One time I was scouting and caught a family taking down a deer stand we had a heated discussion until I called the F&G. Then they left yelling at me while I just laughed.
