The problem with D16 selling out before July

Even with all the money generated with deer tags, socal hasn't had a solid deer management study done is YEARS. Like IM said the money is all being spent on condor anti-lead projects and anti hunting regulation studies like HR1221. According to a good friend of mine at the DFW, he wouldn't be surprised if most of all hunting is greatly diminished or banned in the next 5 years.

If we sit back and allow it!

Exactly, if we sit back and allow it. This is why we all need to be up to date on what is going on in this state when it comes to our hunting and game rights. It is better to know about the things they are doing then not to. We all must become involved in our local regulations. If you didn't know this is some new info that has come out about Pigs in San Diego.

Good info Wheels. Thnx. I think the average outdoorsman doesn't get involved in this stuff. He just sits back and lets it happen.( I am partially guilty)The whole time saying that will never happen. And then when we realize its happening we say screw this state Im moving. And then probably end up selling our house to a wacko. My problem is my wife is not leaving San Diego. So im kinda stuck here. I really do need to get more involved so I can say I tried. Because when this place out laws hunting and fishing I will become an outlaw. Legal or not I will continue to excersise my right to ethically pursue wild game.

There will be a LOT of "outlaws." Me included.

You folks may want to read the post on AB711. It is the first huge step to ban hunting in California. I strongly suggest for all of you to make a call, send a letter as well as an email immediately apposing AB711. If you don't think this is going to go down - think again. And you will have nobody but yourself to blame.

It may sound harsh - but it is reality right here and now.

This is so true,,,,,,,

We had a little good news yesterday. AB711 has been placed in the Suspense Files. This is only Temporary but it is a start. We must celebrate the small steps and continue the big fight.

CRPA appreciates your support!
Good news regarding AB 711!

Thanks to the efforts of our CRPA members and our aggressive Legislative Advocacy Program, AB 711, the bill banning traditional hunting ammo, was heard in the Senate Appropriations Committee and sent into the Suspense File. Although this does not kill the bill, it presents a major hurdle.

Thanks again,

John Fields - Executive Director

Hold on to your guns!
This year the CRPA is tracking an unprecedented number of bills - 51 to be exact - that could impact firearms owners and sportsmen. Most of this legislation is vehemently ANTI-GUN AND ANTI-HUNTING and outright attacks your gun rights.

For more information on these bills visit our Bill Status Update page here.
