Trail Cam Stolen

I have 5 cams with steel case and cable lock , this year someone cut and steel one.
I had a padlock on mine last year I should probably put it back on this year. I guess screwing it to the tree is useless if I don’t have a padlock on the box. I guess another way to avoid thieves is put cams way back in some rough country where they won’t hike to, plus thats where the wise old bucks hang out anyways.

stay away from any trails especially hiking trails. , but nothing safe at Laguna unless its really deep at the outer edge..

That's some serious BS. Once I got my bicycle seat stolen and I was so angry I had trouble sleeping...lol. I cant imagine a stand or a camera.

Got to try to bait them...entice them in an easy location with a stand within reach and a nice visible camera.

Put them in jail where they belong.

I wonder how expensive it would be to put a tracker in the camera.

Yeah... I forgot that particular device was not cellular. Thought it was.
