How easily I forget......just applied for some antlerless hunts what a f*cked up system........it makes Cali look like they know what they're doing......never thought I'd say that!

I didn’t think UT was that bad at least they let you apply for multiple hunts/hunters and pay with one check out. AZ is by far the worst. CA honestly has the best website for applications. It’s everything else about the state that sucks.

What hunts did you put in for? I just got points putting me at 2 per antlerless species. I put the boys in for a Doe Hunt which they should draw.

@MJB what is the issue? The Utah website is one of my favorites. Am I missing something Mark?

I think it sucks too.
Took awhile to figure out that you can’t get to the hunts through the license page. Kept trying to sell me another license.

I had to ask a friend, that lives and has hunted Utah for many years, for help because I couldn't understand it. After he helped me to get the license and applied for the drawing now I get it

I also think it’s crap. There’s no clear links to the application page, they don’t list your old licenses so it also took some digging to figure out if I had one already. It’s just not streamlined. Once you have your license and are on the application page, it is very easy and I like that it all adds into a cart and you pay at the end.

I'll add.....when you do a group tag application whoever starts the application pays for the application for everybody & I need there log on info...... really? WTF! Cali you just need the party # so your friends can join.

A few years ago UT had map zones/units according to species. That worked great it was easy & simple........ If I really want to go back it was great when archery deer tag was either south Utah or north & otc.....oh the good old days.

I have two hunters going for points, :) I'm helping them to make the step to hunt out of state......once you have hook them on elk meat they're ready.
