Gentleman sorry for being the messenger of bad news for the new year. But I wanted to let everyone know
of the bad. As usual those of us staying here will have to work around these laws.
Larry good luck will need it.

SIGH... I was totally with these dudes... up until the moment they started their diatribe attacking Planned Parenthood. #FacePalm

What's to stop people of California going to neighboring states and buying ammo?

Another question regarding buying ammo only for guns that are registered to you... a buddy of mine has a Springfield XD .40 but put a .357 sig barrel in it. Since it's not registered as a .357 sig, he can't purchase ammo for it here?

They're hinting at the possibility that the govt will notice this discrepancy and perhaps comeback and apply pressure to force registration of the now different firearms under the guise of attempting to ferret-out and compel you to now have registered all weapons under your roof.

Sort of a creepy backdoor way to slowly but surely creep into the original goal they had all along in this endeavor!

Also let's say some one is Hunting with lead ammo. Let's say Mr Green jeans.
Catches them . Misdemeanor offense.
They can now strip one of their 2nd amendment rights. Bye bye.

I believe this just the start. Soon all states will follow. If we don't stop it now. Local and state gun clubs
Need to sue. And stop this.

Let's set the record straight.
I am a conservative, Republican.
Strong supporter of the Constitution.
All bill of rights.
Especially 2 nd amendment.

I'm right there with you!

I have a few friends that are lefties, and we get along for the most part so long as we don't talk religion or politics. Can't go wrong with food and beer

My thoughts also

I thought DFW 'relieved' Carrie from doing the column because of her frequent errors and misstatement of the law.

Does the lead ammo ban also count toward target shooting?
No... it's only when hunting. They don't want some other creature feasting on the critter you didn't recover and possibly ingesting the lead. Or at least.. that's the BS line they've been feeding us all on this. If it were true... the forests no doubt would have been decimated in the 200 some odd years people have been shooting lead all up and down this coast.
