What is happening to McCain Valley?!

No they can't do a eir, how do you write down on paper that you will kill hundreds of protected raptors and keep a straight face

Because they lie about it....

If you think wind generators are a waste of money, then research Fukushima Japan. Were nuclear reactors are a disaster. Think about when wind generators break it does not kill everything.

True, when they break that's when they stop killing.

Went there today. Never been in traffic on a dirt road. Shame. Disgusting. Almost got lost and I know that place well. Hiked in 2 miles at the very end this morning. Saw one doe. People with stop signs, water trucks, etc. Its just disgusting.

Aww.... Thanks for the update. I was hoping to hear they may be getting close to completion or something. I guess not.... Time to look for new spot to take my boy to this cottontail season.

I was out there recently shooting jacks, and the construction didn't affect my access. Lots of bunnies too.. almost ran over a few on my drive in.

I went out there yesterday afternoon, scoped it out. Too much construction going on. Talked to a few guys there off work. And they said it is scheduled for about 3 more years.

It's not to far from me, just have not been able to get out busy with work, for a part timer, I am busy as hell with work.
but I really like that place, and doesn't seem the same with all those wind generators there.

Not to mention the motorcycles have gone absolutely rogue in McCain valley, the BLM Rangers don’t even bother dealing with it. It’s extremely frustrating beating feet in an easterly direction just to be rode up on by some metal mulisha bro.

Thanks guy. Campground looks unused, abandoned, no water from the spigots. Guess it's been too warm. Lots of dead dry weeds everywhere, I think that's part of the reason for all the fires. Wet spring followed by hot dry summer.

Once they are done building it will all be off limits to hunting just like the BLM land with turbines around Palm Springs & DHS. You may not even be able to access the area to get passed the turbines to open land. So don't be surprised to see the road gated and locked with no trespassing signs . The BLM is selling us out when it comes to building turbines and solar stations all in the name of the mighty dollar.
