Will California learn from Idaho?

I wonder if we will get this far with our mountain lion population before someone realizes that their numbers have to be in check. I am not talking about exterminating them, just keep the numbers down.

Lions attacking humans will happen, it already has and will elevate in the future but the difference here in Cali is the general public is uninformed and will not respond to it and will live through it with the mind set that someone else will make it right with no sense of what it takes to manage a wild species. Most folks don't even go to a zoo in this sate so why would we even think they would give regard to species management ?

I understand that they are inviting Idaho trappers to help controlling the wolf population. To pay them they are looking for people who can help rising funds. I don’t-see anything wrong with that.
Now, there may be a reason why they are not inviting hunters to help. I ignore why.

Or if they are actively killing your livestock as you witness it and provide immediate evidence by way of video or law enforcement or maybe if you can prove it with evidence of your offspring being attacked.
