To preface my story.....I learned the many variables of bow hunting.
With that being said, 2026 was a first for me in the bow hunting world. After 10 years hunting with a bow I got it done in idaho on a doe at 80 yards. 80 yards is very difficult for me to say but I learned that jumping the bow is REAL!!!!. After 3 days of stalking deer I got it done after a 1 hour stalk. I played the wind, the lack of cover and was able to harvest the best tasting deer to date. I will say I learned to compensate a deers movement when bow hunting from now on. I know this community will have negative feedback, and that's OK. I practiced my ass off for this moment. Thanks to all you guys who've cheered me on throughout the years and have kept me going on the bow hunting journey
