Hunting with the .357 (graphic video)

Hello all, had a chance to get out and do some filming with both the EVOL .30 and .357 SLAYER airrifles. Tom decided to break all the rules and push the lightweight 95gr swaged slug at 1079 fps, beyond what most big bores achieve while still staying accurate. The 95gr NSA hollow point is absolutely devastating and gets out to 200+ yards very quickly.

Yes it was in fact banded, does anyone know why???

Info.....Birds like that (protected) would be found dead most likely of natural causes.....The info, if recovered, will tell where it had traveled (migration), cause of death possibly, and age.

I have found a number of seagull & pelican bands around the Salton Sea.....All protected birds that were turned in.....A ring billed gull I found dead was from Alberta, Canada.

Thank you for the explanation, my guess was that it was someone's pet and got away. Lol I will say it would be interesting to know where that bird has been, beautiful looking. I took quite a few pics of it, and video while I was waiting for it to fly off. Something was peculiar about its behavior compared to the others.

They're very smart.....They're also one of the biggest killers of wildlife, including desert tortoises, song birds, and poults.

they want to make sure its not eating any lead .357 pellets. Lead bullets are a main diet for birds in CA didn't you know.
Yeah right! Haha I'm still waiting to see one of these Condors, never seen one in the wild over my 35 years in the field.

Great vid as always. Love to jack hunt in the off season. I have seen a condor in the wild in the sespe wilderness. It was the ugliest thing I've ever seen. And HUGE! Must be the lead diet.
