    Weather for dove opener

    We got 3.1 inches of rain yesterday , muddy roads this morning. Nice lighting show yesterday , and humidity. But limits for two old guys by 7:30 , those boots get heavy fast. Safe shooting.

    San Vee 8/2

    Well beautiful morning on the water , warmed up fast today . Caught 13 fish , 1 one topwater , the rest up tight on plastics. In the livewell there was a bluegill swimbait one of the fish choked up.

    I ordered it from Lowe, it was the first year they offered the camo, rhino . At the time it was the same price as a carpet non -camo boat. Now I think it’s a option for more.

    You know that boat is used 2-3 days a week all year, its 9 years old that rhino liner is tuff stuff, shows very little wear. The only down fall is in summer it gets warm. 2 livewells all aluminum ,transom , decks thought out. For a cheap boat it has been perfect.

    split shot is a deadly technic, i love throwing it. you just have to be a patient fisherman. fishing slow is hard for some. but cold water requires it. beautiful fish , geat job. sutherland is a jewell. thanks for a nice post.
