    Vaccinated People…

This is well said. Thanks for taking the time to post. It’s worth pointing out a couple more things: 1) the Delta Variant as of yesterday now accounts for over 90% of new infections in the US, up from 83% just a week ago; 2) over 99% of deaths due to Covid are in unvaccinated persons. Hatchet...

    Moderna vaccine:(

This thread is a good illustration of why expertise matters. Don’t go to the doctor for hunting advice; don’t go to a hunting forum for medical insight.

    Let's talk pellet smokers/grills

Good discussion. Here’s my two cents. Pellet smokers really don’t get hot enough to sear or grill, so you need the egg or a grill for that. I know of some hacks you can do, but bottom line is don’t try to seat or grill on a pellet smoker. Also the egg probably gives better flavor than pellets...

    One reason I buy Sitka

I wish I had Mark’s sense: I tore my Sitka pants a couple years ago, and just repaired them myself. Now I realize I could have gotten them repaired for free AND got another pair free! Who knew? (Forehead slap)

FJ with a few things about the site

Bill, For a long time I found it nearly impossible to use the “new” site software from my phone. That was the only reason I used tapatalk. No need for that any more. Awesome work, Dr. J!

    One reason I buy Sitka

I wear Sitka and Kuiu (and Orvis) clothing for the material and layering capabilities: to keep as constant a body temp as possible working hard and then sitting down in the field; and if I sweat, to have it wick away and dry without chilling or chafing me. The patterns are fine, but for me it’s...

    The First Annual SCH INVITATIONAL

Sprig, somehow I got waylaid on the way to retirement. Busier than I ever expected! It was a great day with great friends. Honestly, I still have no idea why I was declared the winner; i testify that they are just being charitable. I will say that I have a terrific stock 7mag rig, put together...

Bonejour and Tru-Duct double NM Audad

Thanks gentlemen. It was a great week. As Drew says, it is one of the toughest animals to hunt because you have to cover a lot of ground (we put in 10-20 miles per day hiking), the sheep can see you a long way off, and they live in very nasty terrain. We learned a lot about finding them with the...

    Went for a drive today...2/24/18

It’s easy. Go to the area of interest in OnX, make sure your layers are loaded the way you want and the display (sat, topo or hybrid) is set, select off grid from the bottom left, select “save new map” then select your area and resolution, name it and save it. As Truduct said, you have three...
