Well, while I hope it's true, I'm not going to hold my breath until he does the perp walk.

They're probably hoping that it will somehow deter ICE from pepper-spraying protestors. I know it doesn't make any sense, but it wouldn't surprise me if that was a back-door motive.

I'm thinking they could kill two birds with one stone here. If they plant grizzlies in places like downtown San Francisco and downtown LA, they could successfully reintroduce them and also solve the homeless problem without any impact on the state's deer herds from grizzly predation.

One of my pet peeves. In a state that hates guns and sportsmen/women and would love to take guns away from them, they will use any excuse to close a shooting area or to close hunting on a wildlife area. It's probably just luck that some bigwig politician hasn't visited one of these areas for...
