    Hog hunting help?

By no means did I think that was special treatment, just showing what I think is the norm. If I put a public spot on blast forgive me.

    Hog hunting help?

How about a pubic land pig area sticky? Just list all the public land hunting areas that may have pigs. Easier to just post up a map of CA and say, "find'em". That's what I get when I'm out scouting and ask someone. Find'em. If you want a "sure" thing go guided. I've been thinking about it...

I'm concerned more with China building military installations in disputed territories, the ongoing Russian power move to enhance it's nuclear arsenal with help from the Middle East, and the potential for major civil unrest from the multitude of issues going on here than the mere fact that the...

Hunting Turkey on Private Land Near Julian CA

Be happy they're just pulling your chain in a friendly way. I asked similar questions on AT and BHOD, even pointing out I'm not asking for honey holes or sweet spots, about just general areas to look for turkey and all I got was somebody posting a link to the DFG's wild turkey range from 2003...

    Map Accuracy

Yeah the signal is the only issue I have with Trimble GPS Hunt on my phone. But I solve that by downloading the state map packs and carrying a compass or cheap gps. Usually a compass.

    Map Accuracy

Garmin Montana and Oregon models are great. That's what I'm going for so I don't have to worry about breaking my damn phone!

    Map Accuracy

Have you tried Trimble GPS and their maps? I scout around there once in a while for pigs and have used the Trimble map packs. They seem to be more accurate with actual boundaries. Game wardens have basically told me to not waste my time there unless I have current maps provides by land surveyors.
