    Warning when logging in

I understand that this is an older post, but there is another free SSL certificate provider is CertBot than creates a Let's Encrypt certificate. I use them on my home Ubuntu web server. Very easy plug-in for Apache to install, and automatically renews. Though if you use cPannel or ISPConfig...

QUESTION: RE : Seal Beach / Bolsa Chica Wetlands

Many years ago tried the Santa Ana River jetty from the Newport side, just caught perch and a lot of stuff that flows downstream. The people I worked with mostly go the the HB pier and catch perch, and surfers. That picture is the new outflow to the ocean thru the old oil fields from the...

The copper bullet are they up to the quick kill.

My early tests spoken about above were using IMR-4350 in 270 & 30-06 with very early E-Tips. Though I again saw this copper fowling just last year when getting ready for the Colorado Elk hunt using store bought Hornady Super-perform GMX in 30-06 & 300mag, several days before that gun blew up...

The copper bullet are they up to the quick kill.

I have been shooting "Lead Free" copper bullets for about 12 years when I purchased some and reloaded one of my rifles for them to see how they worked at the range. The issue I had with these "Early" Solid Copper slug is I could not get the velocities from them like you could do with lead...

The copper bullet are they up to the quick kill.

Nice pics showing that the bullet retained almost all of its weight, while not mushrooming that much. With shooting many different makes of copper bullets, I came across this article that suggests copper bullets have the highest probability st start fires over any other bullet. I wonder what...

The copper bullet are they up to the quick kill.

Lead free "copper" bullets have greater accuracy over most lead bullets, however they do not mushroom as much as the lead bullets do. I have seen copper go completely thru seen and elk and not kill the animal. This was because the bullets were traveling too fast and did not hit any bone or...

    More federal gun control.

I see you put up the nice photo of Senator Dianne Feinstein with an assault weapon who her and her husband Richard Blum received a $600 million dollar contract to supply the Army to help with troop mobilization, weapons systems training and anti-terrorism efforts, which could bring in $3.1...

    Colorado Migration Elk Hunt

Just got back from a Winter Migration Elk hunt. The hunt was quite different than what I was use to for being a "Car" hunt. The first day we got up early in the hotel and the guide picked us up in his Chevy 4-door 250 truck. It was about 16 degrees outside, so we headed north to about 20...

    Wisconsin Hunting

Went to Wisconsin for their 5-day Gun Deer Season. Had a blast with sitting in a tree stand or "Coffin" (converted Outhouse). I don't understand why California is so against wooden tree stands. When I took a bow-hunter safety class several years ago they called them Death Traps and were going...

    Arizona Deer

I would check out Eastman's Hunting / Bow-hunting Journal they have an Members Research Section that gives terrain, public to private land, etc... Then do research on the Arizona DFW website and see where the harvest numbers are coming from. Additionally, there is quite a bit of Indian lands...

    Trying to Get it Right

Oh, If this is "Slight" pressure from Factory loads, then I have never seen sighs of High pressure. Especially since it flowed brass on my bolt face and put 2 holes in it and filled them with brass after it rolled the primer lip out of the case. . . . another one bites the dust . . .
