I leave for a 10 day backpack elk hunt next Tuesday. Which gun are you bringing? All in XLR chassis right to left 16" 22CM shooting 80g ELDX, 20" 300PRC shooting 212g ELDX, 16" 7mm Backcountry shooting 170G Terminal Ascent. Big country I might only see one bull which gun is going on your pack.

is it your 6.5CM? If so dont use the same lube you normally do...... I rarely clean my barrels, but when I do like after bad weather in AK I make sure to put at least 10 rounds down the pipe to get it shoting proper again before the next hunt. Never trust a clean barel to shoot like it was...
