I like girl elk , October Wapati hunting ..and AZ..strong work! And the SCH sticker .
I spotted this group from about 2 miles. I was in shooting distance for about 3 hours waiting for them to move lower off the mountain. In that time I saw the bull scream 1 time. That was just before I shot his favorite lady.
Congrats Darryl....Rare day SCH'ers don't find success...................

They were bugling today... chasing ladies and fighting. Got 4" of snow yesterday... great time of year. Ed F

Happiness is a warm gut pile
I was camped up higher... snow was at about 6500'. Ed F
When I was cutting her up last night I brought out the hind quarters, backstrap, tenderloin’s , neck meat .
Was snowing. Terrible situation. I had a long sleeve t shirt on. Cold as F. Couldn’t feel my hands.
And in the dark. Not a good situation.
Today was much better. I brought both the front shoulders out.
My partner ,Randomshot killed his elk today.
He got it out in 2 trips.
The rest of the week is vacation time baby.
