Sure look like it....There was a bear videoed in Pauma Valley a few months back...Hasn't been spotted for a long time...If that's the Laguna's, then he's traveled some...If that's Palomar, just up the hill.... 
they have been seeing a black bear on Palomar. too bad you can't hunt them in CNF (at least that's what I read about it).
It sure looks like bear and it was a mater of time more people would be seeing them. I don't want to give locations but in the last 8 years I have caught bears in my trail cameras and this year for the first time I actually saw a bear while scouting. I actually contacted the biologist to let him know and he confirmed they are aware there's bears in the area.
So you’re hunting palomar, maybe near Fry Creek. This was taken a few days ago near the state park.
It’s a young bear that’s been pestering people on the mountain for trash and whatever else is left out, since early in the year.
Interesting. So....DFG (uhg, "wildlife") dropped off another undesirable from an LA or San Bernardino in a "relocation" exercise?
I had heard in the spring that there were two young bears relocated but DFW swears they we relocated in the San Bernardino national forest. Even if that’s true they’d have to hoof it past Anza through high desert along the 79 to palomar. I guess it’s not impossible. We all thought up there that the bear would have left long ago but he’s been up and down the mountain all year so far. My uphill neighbor had him on camera at least twice. But he spends most of his time near the homes around the observatory and state park areas.
