Escaped the point creep and drew a first season rifle elk tag. Not a primo unit by any stretch but smaller unit with low tag numbers so should be a fun hunt.
Now to decide whether to turn back my MT general combo license or try to swing two back to back hunts with work and two young kiddos at home
The draw stats were up earlier today (they took it down for some reason). Turns out I drew my tag in the hybrid draw. It looks like you have a chance if you have 5+ points for a species. I thought I accidentally put in for a doe tag or something lol

Big nasty goose egg for me. Missed on a Muzzie tag for elk in what should've been an easy draw unit. Oh well, try again next year. I am 0 for everything in CO and AZ so far this year. Maybe CA will be kinder to me. (but probably not)
