3 birds down, 3 different locations, and 2 of them were on consecutive days. The public land grind. Ooooooooo Weeeeee!
The season had it all. Bumped birds, my 7 year old daughter got to witness a tom do its dance for half an hour with our decoy, birds passed after shooting hours, caught red-handed putting decoys out, the heat, the cold, and everything in between.
That's a wrap. It's been one hell of a season.

epic! nice work! out of curiosity are these all relatively close to private. or have you found success in areas where you're not waiting on them to cross a fence and have plenty of room to strech your legs

Both. One of these birds was a spot n' stalk in wide open public land. In my experience, some of these birds can really cover some ground after fly down, and they can be habitual, for the most part. Patterning their movement via cameras or watching from a distance has helped me get closer to a number of birds.
