I talked to the local biologist about bear hunting 1 year ago. I would be happy to share our convo notes but the area he recommended is a little different. If you are open to that feel free to call/text.

Its a little hard to see but literally 30 seconds after I dropped him the challenger buck is already moving in on the does. Nature is savage.

It was @JakeSCH that figured it out, made it look way to easy. 63gr of n560, Lapua brass and a 1/4 crimp. Its just shy of 3400fps in a 1/7 twist factory 24" browning. I think we went up to 64 and pressure started showing obvious signs.

6.5 prc. It's the flattest shooting thing I have so I figure it'll have the most forgiveness if my ranging in that open country is off.

It's the insidious/invisible bias within search engines, social media, phones etc... that scares me more.
