No weight it got cleaned and went right into the trailer freezer.
So I’ve been starting a new business and working my old job full time so no days off for 2 months.
Finally got to a point my wife and I could get out. Made reservations hitched the trailer up and hit the road yesterday about noon. Got to lake Casitas about 2 set up and fished the evening...
After years of not getting even I nibble on bass after killing it as a youngster I finally hooked a good fish and landed it.

Thanks for that always a great read. If the Toyota had a rear mechanical locker it may have locked up when the transfer case tried to engage. Time for some work on the Toyo. Or maybe the e brake did not release on that side? Stuck caliper if it has rear disk especially if it’s already...
Agreed. Mostly the offroders and a atvs stick to the flatter areas like washes. Just get out and hike. You’ll find something interesting or beautiful. Learn the area and see what’s out there.
Its close to me as well that why i've always gone up that way.
The best pointers are the same for any area. Get as far back off the road as you can get. then get further. Ive always had 4x4's so i drive way off the pavement, then i hike way away from the dirt road.
