I've had success on the North Shore just up from the dam. Couple places to park and scramble down to the lake. Turns out there is an original dam 100 yards or so east of the current dam. Makes for a high spot where the fish hang out.

JW, D12 is a HUGE zone, and there are a lot of areas to hunt. My best advice is to start doing a lot of google earth scouting and get out there and put your boots to work. I got drawn last season and spent a lot of time out there but didn't get a chance to pull the trigger.

With all due respect, I believe it comes down to more than just reading the hunting regs. Trespassing is trespassing, poaching is poaching, pure and simple. I believe individuals who engage in this type of behavior know full well what they're doing, and they deserve everything they have coming...
