I use Norma Eco Speed-22. They are hyper velocity ones. No complains.

What do you think guys about Turtleskin Snake Gaiters? $200. Is it worth it
They say it is really light and breathable.

I think there are no restrictions if both guns are legal for CA. But they should be loaded only with non-lead ammo including your 22Mag. That's for sure as I talked with wardens about this matter.
@fish impaler @ilovesprig Thanks for feedback. Know the rule just was not sure about the "plug" word. So I thought maybe some new crazy rule from CA officials I am not aware about yet (every dove hunter should have a plug in their pocket or somewhere else) :) Things are changed so quickly here.
Great pictures!
Speaking about the fox on photo 4 above can we hunt them on BLM? Is it red or grey fox? I could not find any information about grey foxes. Only red fox is mentioned everywhere.
Maybe the wolf you saw came down from Lassen pack:

I used this one in the dessert the previous year: Spypoint Link Micro Trail Camera
I left it for 3 weeks in the area with good AT&T signal. If you set all options properly it catches every valid movement and gives pretty good pictures.
Any suggestions for recreational shooting spots on BLM lands close to San Diego? I think about some practice and clay target shooting as well. So looking for good spots not too far away from home area with good access. Something maybe in range of 1-1.5 hour drive from Poway/Rancho Bernardo. Thanks.
