My buddy just realized he drew a unit 23 coues deer tag. Looks like I’ll be tagging along with him. I am excited to help out on this hunt and glass for the grey ghost.

Ultralight 1-2 person tent recommendations

I have been using the MSR hubba hubba for a few years. I really like the foot print and it’s durability but I think it’s on the heavy end of backpacking tents. I’m thinking about investing in a seek outside teepee.

300 WSM vs 300 WM

I reload for my .300wsm and have never had and issue except great results and I am not an expert by an means. I use norma brass.

Had a great morning scouting. Set a few cameras did some glassing and spotted two nice bucks and a bobcat. Couldn’t get a pic of the cat. Quail are everywhere. Looking forward to this fall. .

We hooked up three all within the 20-25lb class and the seals were relentless. The water rolled a little so the temps were 63-64, the bite was a little slow. No fish tacos....next time.
