    Road Kill Dinner

No sir. He was dead. No broken bones, just was exploded inside in the upper chest cavity, all the nasty guts were in tact. Pretty much only lost the front right quarter from the impact. Rest of deer was fine.

    Road Kill Dinner

48 hour report period. State troopers have the tags in their vehicles. After I got this one I just called the warden. He was off, so he told me to just go into the office. I showed them a few pictures and they wrote me the permit. They didnt need to see the deer, it was already hanging in the...

    Road Kill Dinner

I made the decision to pass on a lot of young deer this year. Some of the bucks were good, they just could have used a few years. I have posted a few pics of some of the bucks throughout the season. We welcomed our 4th son in November, so I did all my hunting close to home and always had my bow...

Exploring is a good word to use for the OV.

No, I didn't. Are you referencing the cinnamon teal? Are you assuming that it is still alive?

    Truck Camper Shell Recommendations

I have had an ARE for years. Great shell, but I don't have any others to compare it to. I am now in the market for a shell for the new truck. SoCal is a great market for picking up used camper shells. I paid $650 for mine and it was the right color. I found it on Craigslist. The problem...

    Anybody using an inReach

I just researched the Mini and it seems like a great deal. If you are already using your phone as a GPS it seems to be a good solution. If I had to choose I think I would go with the Recreation plan with the Freedom billing option. I don't need the service all year at this stage in my life...

Harold and Kumar go to San J

Can you explain this further? So you bought a home security shotgun because you can walk 100 yards from your stake??

Harold and Kumar go to San J

Wait... isn't Trig going with you? If so, I would leave everything in the trunk of your Mustang. Trig might even fill your car with stuff to take home.

    Hunter Codes, Ethics, & Etiquette

No. AO and A22 are unrelated. Do not mix those up. AO is only related to the open seasons in A, B, or D.

    Zink ph2

I am with Steve. Everyone wants to quack like a mallard and they are soo stupid to the call that the cheap stuff works just fine in my opinion. I never could justify really expense duck calls. I'd just keep adding more pulsators.

Harold and Kumar go to San J

Uuuh, yes. When hunting it is important to use the right tools for the task. Shooting BB at teal and spoontangs is not what you want to do. Go buy some #2s or #3s.

    Colorado Success

Unfortunately this seems to be true for many butchers. We have an awesome butcher here. You give him an animal and your get your animal back. If you want specific cuts he will make it happen.

    12x?

Jason, screw the spotter like many others have said. Get 15s. If you are trying to determine if you should chase a 165 buck or a 185 buck, then maybe a spotter, but I think you are moving closer as soon as you realize it is "A" buck. I am in the market for a new spotter, but I like to film and...
