So I just got the tikka in a .223 to replace the Remington 783 in the .308 for Varmint Hunting. Today was my second hunt with it and I had a coyote dead to rights at 150 yards and I pulled the trigger and missed so here I am at south bay re sighting it in at 200 yards. To say the least I am bummed
if you want to be around 600 for a bare rifle i would spent 100 more and get a tikka t3. i just got myself one yesterday at fine firearms and they are hands down the most helpful knowledgeable shop i have ever been in.
If it's anything like fish or beef it's not the best practice but it won't hurt you. From what i know it lowers the quality of the meat. Its better to prep the meat into meal size bags before freezing. but i don't blame to be an expert on this
