I went duck hunting last week two hours south of el Centro (Baja) and shot a few ducks that I have never shot before. With 30 years of duck hunting under my belt I have never seen either one of these ducks A little help on identification would be appreciated.- SAM.410

My Birthday Weekend Down South
Thanks for the nice remarks. It’s one of the best quail seasons I have seen down in Baja. They were like ants everywhere we went. You couldn’t drive 100 yard in some areas without seeing another covey.- SAM.410

Pig hunt: Twisselman Outfitters
I’ve hunted with Noland Twisselman 5 or 6 times and gone home with about 10 pigs. He is very honest and will let you know if he’s not seeing a lot of pigs on his ranch. -
Mexico Pheasant Opener
I use 3” #4’s and 6’s. I take only close going away shots but mostly crossing shots. I hate wounding them so usually won’t shot them past 35 yards. Next week I’m bumping it up to the 12 ga to give myself more options. You defiantly have to place your shots with the .410- SAM.410

Game camera cut but not lost
Saw and took a pic of a game camera south of I 8 and north of 94 with strap that was cut but still secured to tree with metal cable. If it’s your you might want to retrieve. By the way it’s in an excellent location .
