    Kern Opener Delayed Again

If the existing rain and snowmelt can't fill up our existing water storage how is another dam going to have any meaningful impact? Where was this dam to be? Was it going to be capturing some untapped watershed that we are not already collecting to where it would have a worthwhile effect?

    Kern Opener Delayed Again

Might of been a good choice. Why waste the time and money when we can't fill the storage that already exists. Better off doing something that helps create more water or uses what we have more efficiently.

    More California BS

Sometimes the best solution is to circumvent the rules and get it elsewhere. I wouldn't give turners money for ammo at their prices anyways.

    Upcoming rattlesnake avoidance clinics?

It wasn't a situation where I actively sought it out for training. It happened to be killed in a trail on the way down and used the opportunity to give her a shock when she put her face to it. The other times were live snakes which I've just been telling her to avoid obviously.

    Shells

I can't even find the hulls I want for .410 I've been hand reloading the same 40 or so 3 inch Winchesters several times over with bismuth for hunting now. I'm sick of having to do it such small batches and just want some more.

    Shells

I've been on email notification lists for several years now and I'm still waiting for 12g and .410 to buy. I'd actually prefer to just buy 3" winchester hulls for .410 so if anybody has any lmk. Or would trade 2.5 for 3, 2 for 1. And I'm not buying 12g from Turnners at their bend over prices...

    Upcoming rattlesnake avoidance clinics?

Thanks for posting the link to the High on Kennels signup. Will be taking Mina to the Calabasas one on the 28th. See how she does as I've done some impromptu training with her when I've come across a dead one and live one.

*SOLD* 2010 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Access Cab with Pickup Shell - $11900 (Vista, CA) *SOLD*

What gas milage did you get out of the truck it being 2wd Auto? My Tacoma is virtually the same except 4wd manual. I found that my gas milage could vary a lot depending on how it's setup, tires, etc. Curious what you got milage wise. This is my first 4x4 and I'll say I wouldn't go back after...

    Flooding Laguna Salada for rain

Has anybody heard of the idea of flooding Laguna Salada with sea water from Gulf of California to cause it to rain more in the IV, Colorado River Basin, Mexico, etc? I saw this awhile ago but haven't ever heard anybody discuss this and with all the current issues with Lake Mead and different...

Pictures & information with or about children under the age of 18 is prohibited on SCH

The hassle of going though the motions is a better excuse than the money. If they tried to sue a site over a users hunting pic the funds could be crowd soured fairly easy is my guess. Would somebody want to justify their time. energy, stress, etc is the real question, not the money. And the...

Pictures & information with or about children under the age of 18 is prohibited on SCH

My personal thoughts are that you are overreacting and in doing so giving them exactly what they want and allowing them to win. You did the same thing with ammo sales. Ammo sales are legal between private parties as long as the transfer is done though an FFL. And if for some reason the parties...

    2nd amendment win

Forcing you to have or to not have is still forcing you. The idea that it is a states decision over and individuals is despicable and gross. Everybody snivels at how the state is overstepping it's bounds when they want you to put on a mask or stay out of the forest but oh forcing somebody to...

    2nd amendment win

Consensual sex does not equal consensual parent or pregnancy. If a woman is not serving a growing fetus during pregnancy than she can just get rid of it at any point, right? Cause her service and care is not needed. I'd also that making a man that expressed a desire not have a child and is...

    2nd amendment win

A pregnancy is a unique and exclusive provider/dependent status. If it is not wanted than abortion should be allowed under the 13th which protects from involuntary servitude.

Hang on guys our guns are in the msm Bull Shit machine.....

Other than raising purchase age for males to mid 20 something nothing would have any real effect. And that would be unconstitutional, sexist, discriminatory and might not even be as effective as some may think.

    When's the snake break clinic?

How old should they be for aversion training? My pup is 5 months old and have somewhat started the aversion training by chance when we have encountered rattlers. 2 alive and one was dead. And then we have encountered 3 other types of snakes since. She already seems like she wants to avoid snakes.
