Back in the 60's. there was actually a bounty on lions and hunters were encouraged to shoot them....$50.00 for males, $65.00 for females............... ;)

Pretty brutal report from Jim Matthews for the dove opener...I have to admit, it's been tough finding them...Even MCC, which is a totally different kind of habitat is really weak this year...Just hoping what has happened to band tailed pigeons isn't happening to mourning doves...
