So are there any hunting opportunities for deer in mexico just south of the San Diego county border? I have been told by a few old timers that lived in Mexico that there are big deer down there and that population of deer is fairly good. I have always wondered about the deer hunting down there...

I have a .280 ackley Imp. built on a commercial FN Mauser action with double set triggers. That caliber is capable of game up to elk with no problem. Like previously said is that there is factory ammo made by a few companies and you can buy brass for it without having to form it on your own...

Those rifles are almost the same as the 700's. parts are available for them and you can get them from Remington direct I believe.

Tikka T3 is the way to go. They guarantee 1 M.O.A. (1inch) at 100yards out of the box.

My friends lab ate about 15lbs of lead diving weights that were in a bucket in the garage. Had to have surgery to remove them. About a year later he ate the rest of the lead diving weights that were left in the original bucket and I guess it was even more lead than the first time....it was off...
