Indeed. I also can’t imagine that our completely inept departure and abandonment of Afghanistan helped us any vis a vis the Russian situation.
Biden abandoned Americans and our Afghan supporters in Kabul so what chance could Ukraine have of our support?
I will always take the side of the US and that includes pointing out that Biden has shown weak leadership throughout this affair (not to mention his already disastrous presidency).
His sanctions have been weak and he barely managed to mr magoo his way through the press conference yesterday. He...
I think that depends entirely on whether Putin decides to push his luck with a NATO ally.
I don’t think we’ll go to war over Ukraine but we could easily go in over NATO. It would be justified by our treaty obligations.
I think the danger is, with Biden in the WH, Putin may just decide to test...
I’ll be there with the family.
Question: last year I got charged admission for my son who’s too young to hunt. Was that a mistake or is that the plan for this year too?
It makes it kind of pricey if you bring a bunch of non hunters with you.
My understanding was yes for big game and no for small game/upland.
I’ve gone to Yuma for dove with guys who don’t have CA hunters ed and they bought the three day AZ small game license without any trouble.
Too be fair this is Walmart. They do keep rods on racks but I expect they needed the shelf space so the clearance ones go in the tub.
The non clearance reels are in a locked case too. Only been like that in Santee for a few years though. Too much shoplifting I guess.
Walmart’s pretty goofy...
Just a FYI, the Santee Walmart has some fishing gear on clearance.
Nothing too amazing but there were some penn and pfleuger reels that were discounted to 50% off.
I see a difference between comfort and safety. When the family is loaded into the truck, someone has to go in the bed and I don’t think the missus is going to let me put the kids back there (though sometimes I may want to ;) ).
Since getting Buck I’ve tried to be firm about treating him as a...
I ended up getting a 2-piece crate from petsmart that’s about the same size as the ruffland intermediate.
I’ll use this as a frame of reference when he’s closer to full size to determine what ruffland I decide to get.
Ideally I’d like to keep just one crate. I’d be willing to get the bigger one if necessary.
OTH it seems you guys with the big labs like the large so maybe Buck would be better off with the int. as he’s unlikely to be more than 70#.
What I’ve read is that a lot of guys go with the intermediate size as they say less room to slide around makes the dog safer in a collision but they don’t always mention if they live in them as well.
I’m interested in getting a ruffland kennel for my gsp/setter mix and am unsure about the size.
He’s about 50# and 8 months old. I want to use the ruffland for both travel and as his primary home crate (he sleeps in his crate and has been crate trained since we got him).
The intermediate...
Those cz 22 rifles are awesome. He’ll pass that down to his own kids and grandkids.
Mind if I ask how old your boy is? Mine is 6 going on 7 and I’m debating at what age to get him a .22.
