    Yes, but keep in mind if you get a tag from the website you'll have to wait for it. You can go to any licensing location and buy your tag and they will print it, no wait. All depends how spur of the moment you are.

    Welcome aboard Midwest. Hunting in CA is not much different than other states. Best bet right now is get yourself a CNF map and start scouting public land. I'll take a shot in the dark that you are military, if so I know there are hunts on Pendelton but I am not sure the logistics of it.
