Duracell 3 pack from Costco. Usually on sale for $15.99 and includes batteries. When they're not on sale they're $19.99. Best feature on them is a button lock, so they won't die in your pack.

I definitely wouldn't shoot a skunk, but does anyone have ideas on deterring them? We have one that strolls thru a couple times a night and our dog goes bananas each time. Need to get some sleep.... Have a few trail cam videos of it. Little bugger cruised by 4 times in one night.

@JLerch, if you can get your hands on the old AAA maps, these are classics and how we plan trips. Kind of old school, but by far the quickest and easiest way we've found for planning.

Too funny, I bought an SKS many moons ago and kind of regret buying it. Sits in the safe and takes up space....I'm kind of a horder and rarely part with things. Runs in the family.

@ilovesprig, it's probably all of the above. Supply and demand is out of whack and so is logistics. Last steel shot I bought was right around that price you mentioned, if you bought the 100 pack at Wally World.

Lucky I stocked up in 2019 prior to the new ammo law taking effect, beacasue Friday Big 5 was selling Winchester 12ga steel #7 for $11.99 a box! They had 5-6 cases on hand. Be prepared for the sticker shock and secure what you need a head of time.
