see ya all in december..i am headin back east for a bit to take advantage of some whitetail hunting in pennsy and connecticut....should be great...private land and lots of deer...i guess i just missed the hurricane and the nor'easter.... looking forward to dropping a few deer....good luck...
yea i know huh...they taste great tho....nothin worse than a growlin stomach in a tree stand...i had my chances..passed on a few...maybe i shouldn`t have....but i still have pennsy and connecticut whitetail comin up in a few weeks...i will redeem myself...!!!!
man ..what a bummer...this will be the first year that i got totally skunked for the season...not even a doe...good luck to all who have some season left....like they say "there is always next year..."
man...what a disaster sat morning turned out to be for me....first off started hiking up to my spot when i realized i forgot my peanut butter sandwiches....so down the hill i went back for them...about a 15 -20 minute loss of time...as i was coming up to my spot i see the hind quaters of a deer...
Man ..i guess i am lucky...for the past 4 weeks i have been walkin all thru the PDB and haven`t had a reaction to it...but as of now i am stayin away from it just to be safe...hope u heal up fast....!!!
went out this morning to my usual spot and sat until 10...saw nothing...decided to try this new area down the road and bumped up a bunch of does...no bucks to be seen but did find some good rub lines...gonna set up tomorrow where the does were and hopefully get a buck coming in to check the...
i hunted Azusa during the early bow season...very hot and crawlin with ticks...switched over to angeles forest up the 2...alot cooler up there 5500 feet..
