I was on the south side of Palomar near Aguanga over the weekend. Apparently, the road goes through a sliver of private land and the owner set up a Hip Camp there. There were about 8 sites camping. Wood fires!

Are there sections of the Oak Grove unit where hunting is only allowed with this special draw? I can't tell from the information on the CDFW site, but it looks like both parts of the area are open to hunting.

I second that!! The hunting opportunities, youth hunting promotion, and refuge improvements are tremendous. I think we can cut them a break.

What does cleaning bathrooms have to do with the new Covid procedures? The bathrooms at SJ are single person bathrooms (at least that's how I use them...) so there shouldn't be a concern with having people too close in the bathroom. Seems arbitrary.

Good idea. I wonder if a catering truck would have to jump through hoops to sell coffee and burritos from the parking lot out there? If they could just show up without needing to get some sort of permit, then we could probably find one out there in the IV that might be interested in showing up.
