Dove in the IV in November

I did pretty good during the first opener, but I'm wondering typically how the action is during the second opener? Any IV regulars care to comment? Thanks in advance! Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    Opening Morning

Grear job Hunter527! I was there yesterday too and only got one and a bunny. I talked to other guys and most of them got between 1 and 3. Weather seemed to keep them on the trees. I may heading to Blythe for the long weekend to see if I do any better. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Pet Killer Down

Nice kill! I got the same call from Amazon last year, and I only used a couple of times. First time I pulled one in at night with the same rabbit distress call. Now that deer season is over, I think I'm gonna go get some. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Right now the bucks are most likely bedding down during the day and moving at night, especially with this heat. So glass under the trees and next to big brush along ridges... a good spotting scope or binos are key here. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    San Felipe WA oakgrove unit

Having a dog definitely helps, but not needed. I've been lucky enough to hunt there these last two years w/o a dog and almost limited out. Just be ready to walk a lot and make sure you have plenty of water and steel shot. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Welcome neighbor... I'm in the OC also. I'm like you, don't know any hunters in my circles. I drew a deer hunt in Santa Barbara County for this weeknd, but when I get back we can chat and see it where it goes. I got tags for D11, D13, D14 and D15. I've been hunting here in SoCal the last 3 years...
