    Well…. My season is over

It was a memorable trip for sure. Getting an X tag I put more pressure on myself to find and kill a mature buck- where as in A zone the first legal buck gets it. Sometimes the added pressure makes for a stressful hunt- especially finding nothing truly mature in all my scouting. I learned a lot...

    Well…. My season is over

Opening morning we found “big and little” The blurry 3 point from above we also found again For the next 5 days between the hail, rain, snow, wind storm we played with these guys. Couple blown opportunities and on the 5th day I was closing in on big and while he was moving from first bed...

Thanks gents! No doves were been harmed, but we did manage to get a ruff looking “road chicken”. First big fuzzy fork was opening A zone rifle. Hence the lucky orange hat.

    Turkeys at LS

Nice! How many hunters are they allowing for this hunt? Other FG draws they had an orientation, this seems like its all self check in and good luck, lol.

    Turkeys at LS

I believe they only have one date option. Its 4/1 - 4/2. I am very familiar with LS- but know over the years the groups are not always in the same general areas.

Learn something new all the time- always did the pin to cardboard method. I will have to give the pant hangers a try this year- if tommy boy cooperates.
