I hunt GA every year in December with a bunch of buddies. Totally different than western hunting but sitting still in a stand is very peaceful until you see whitey. Then all the peace goes out the door and your heart starts racing!
Looking to make a gong for long range practice. Any idea what thickness steel I need? Needs to be able to handle 30 cal
also suggestions on where to get the steel in the socal area would be appreciated!
i hate seeing restrictions anywhere. you'd think the guides and outfitters would know that any restriction to hunting hurts hunting as a whole (even if it benefits them in the short term)
This is the kind of stuff that has been talked about on many podcast ect... that is not good for hunting. We are all on the same team here, Pro hunting. Bashing a teammate is not good for the overall wellbeing of the team. Go easy on each other!
Looks like it is possible to do DIY, but will be a logistic nightmare. Wondering if anyone has done it DIY (not int he days when they had goats and pigs) and if they could share logistics tips! Much appreciated
