Well, Phil and I decided to try "The Shaw" one more time...It was reall tough launching the boat, but we finally got it in (there was only one other small tin boat)...With the lake going down so fast. there's just not a lot of structure to fish...We headed for the damn area and were pleasantly...
PoFar,
Welcome to SCH...Your question is kind of open ended...There's going to be more folks out than you had in Humboldt, but not all that many...Archery only areas will be busy, but the CNF is really big and lots of room to hunt...If you haven't seen or seen sign of anyone scouting, then...
Just because it rained some yesterday (some? :joy: )...It doesn't mean there's still not doves in the IV...These pix are from the 2013...Poured the week before and the night before opening morning...We still had a great shoot....
Wish I could post the video I just saw of Hwy 78/86 south of the border check...Looks like the Colorado River going down the highway...People on top of their cars and trucks...Epic flooding!
Let's try this.... :scream:
Yesterday, NWTF volunteers worked on a drinker we put in a few years back...A couple of minor repairs and some digging...Still pretty full of water...............
Molded kennels are really nice, but not necessary...I had the old Vari-Kennel for many years and they worked just fine...Lots of them for sale on Craig's List and other outlets for $40.00 or less.
Don't let it be too big...They just curl up in a ball......... ;)
Puppies start teething at about 12 weeks...I have given my labs deer antlers or those nylon bones...Ask your vet too...I would NEVER let him have soft toys, shoes, etc.................
If your pup is an indoor dog...HE WILL FIND THINGS TO CHEW ON!...Trust me........... :scream:
