All I did was ask a simple question if you guys thought it was bad etiquette on their part considering the circumstance or if I’m over thinking it. No need to get spun out over nothing.
Unfortunately that wasn’t the case for me today. I found multiple sets of tracks on top of my boot tracks in an unusual spot and it looked like they were running from the direction the quail hunters were in
I was hunting a really small parcel of public this morning trying to fill my A22 tag. I got there later than usual and was surprised to find that no one had beat me there so I got set up on a great spot where I had previously seen a lot of deer travel through. Some time went by and then a close...
I had a similar experience a couple years back with my first deer. I worked my ass off for a few years before I got one and it was the best meat I’ve ever had. Congrats and enjoy every bite of it!
Right! I’m just bummed all my time scouting and patterning is out the window now that there’s pressure from rifle season. Do you know if the deer tend to return to their old habits once the pressure is gone or am I back to square one for the second half of A22?

Right! I’ve contemplated a PCP for years but have never pulled the trigger on one. I have a Benjamin break barrel .22 that’s great for rabbits but it’s heavy as all hell so it rarely ever makes an appearance in the field.
Inaccurate. This rifle can shoot damn near one hole 5 shot groups at 50 with SK’s and Lapua center x but can’t hit the broad side of a barn with any non lead that I’ve tried
Anyone know of any lead free standard velocity or subsonic .22 ammo? I’ve been running CCI copper for years but my cz 457 absolutely hates the high velocity stuff
