    Youth Hunters under 12 and Hunter Safety Course

    I had just turned 12 when I took the hunter safety course at Bass Pro and did just fine on the test. I went with a friend this last summer to another course and it doesn't seem like there were any big changes, so I would say that a kid around 12 could probably still pass the test fine.

    I use a Tikka T3 (Old Model) in 270 shooting the cheap Winchester Copper ammo, I dont have the box in front of me but I can check later.

    During the summer I finally convinced one of my long time friends to take his hunter safety course, and lucky for him I get drawn for the opener. I hope his first hunt will be a good one.

    If I'm not mistaken Cibola is in Arizona, so you will need an Arizona hunting license and everything they require in the state to hunt.

    The online results, in the past, have usually came out 2 weeks before the hunt date. So since the opener is the 24th, the results should be out Saturday the 10th. If drawn, you won't get notified by email but you can check back on the same website that you applied on. You will receive a letter...
