D13 Jumped 3 coveys. Birds are educated, busted far out and are hard to refind. Only 2. I was using number 5 and didn’t like how it performed, gonna stick with number 7. Quiet birds, No calling. Noticed rabbits like to hang out with the quail.

Finallly dialed in on an area holding some covirs. Saw lots of birds before the season in my other spots. Dont know where they went. Got a total of two. Could of gotten more if I had a dog and was a better shot. One cotton tail also. D13 area.
