    Wister youth hunt 2/1

Jacob had res 78. Surprised in the am there were very few at check in and only 6 on sweatline. Turned out to be less than 40jrs. Devon who organizes the kids BBQ and raffle event was there helping everyone out. Thanks to him, Jacob was able to get his first pintail and win some great prizes...

Was a good midday shoot. Wind didn't stop but seems like the birds finally gave up around 230.

    SJ 1/18 and 1/22

8th in the sweatline and 34th. First day, Jacob (8) got his first teal and then 3 more. Steady pick all day for my limit of gads/teal. Second day was a school day, so took a buddy. Slow am but once wind filled in, all you wanted spoonies and a couple of gads. Great end my season. We'll bring...

    SJ-1/15

Wow! Great work. We tried last Wed afternoon with the wind forecasted. Unfortunately everyone thought the same and there were a dozen groups still waiting to refill at 1pm. End up in the Marshes and had just a couple opportunities

    Wister jan 11/12

It sure sounds different (other than the table) but the impact on us all is still the same. My 8yo drew this on the car in the way home after seeing his first snow goose this weekend. I'd say, similar to you, memories that wil last a lifetime were made.

    Wister jan 11/12

Not many res showed up. Had a low pick on the sweatline and ended up in a good blind. Had my 8yo and uncle so we missed a lot of opportunities but had plenty. Shovelers and gwt. Sounded like a lot of shooting for what turned out to be a slow count for most others. Stuck around for Sunday hoping...

Good luck in the heat this weekend to all the Bowhunters

I went to my spot with the best activity lately. Just a lion chirping around my tent last nt. Nothing this am and decided to get back off the hill with the heat and fire.

San Jacinto W.A. Blind Building Party....8-10-24

Jacob (my 8yo), still has trouble holding up his 20ga for long. He saw your boy there and said to me, how does that little boy keep the gun up? I told him, better work on those push-ups before the young bucks pass you up! Good to see the kids out there.

San Jacinto W.A. Blind Building Party....8-10-24

Good turnout and way better time to find out your new waders are leaking already than in season. Thanks to Steve and Terry for all the work they've done in addition to the crew. Everything is looking way better and just knowing my 8yo Jacob isn't going to be sitting in a mud puddle blind is...
