    This is no shi*.

True that. Any Star Trek fan can tell you that once we learn to leave our little galaxy we are going to boldly go where no-one has gone before and kill them there too.

    Let’s talk pizza ovens.

We bought a Casa2 40” woodfired oven kit from Forno Bravo, we love it. It has been in service in our outdoor kitchen for 8 years and we use it frequently. They have a wide range of ovens, accessories, recipes, forum etc. They even have instructions for building your own...

    Caught a few tuna

We had tuna steaks for dinner last night, tuna steak sandwiches today for lunch and tuna sushi rolls for dinner tonight.....I'm ready for something that didn't swim in the ocean for breakfast...

    Caught a few tuna

The tuna sausage was ok, not outstanding, just ok. When I made it I vacuum bagged it and put it in the freezer. I should have put it on the smoker instead, I think that would be the ticket. If I do it again I'm going to smoke it.

    Caught a few tuna

We used all the usual suspects, trolled various lures, soaked some excellent live bait, flew the kite with a gummy flying fish. While we had some action on everything the big winner was a large natural color cedar plug. Of the quality fish (50lbs+) one was caught on live bait, all others were...

    Caught a few tuna

We fished the WON Tuna Jackpot Tournament out of Cabo but didn't catch a qualifying fish. Cabo isn't my home water but we learned a lot in the days leading up to the tournament. I decided to go back and take another shot at the 200lb tuna that avoided us during the tournament. In 2 days of...

    Tuna time

Took some friends from Ocean City MD out on the "Outcast" a couple of days ago. We got into the tuna early and often usually having double hookups. We had the fishbox plugged by 10:30 and headed close to shore looking for Roosters. I'm running out of ways to process tuna. My wife suggested...

Another great day on the water

Had a good day on the water in Buena Vista with Outcast Sportfishing. We were looking for fish for the bar b que, fryer and smoker and didn't disappoint. We caught a mixed bag of Red Snapper, Yellowtail, Amberjack, Morado and White Bonita. Can't wait to get back out there on Tuesday.

    East Cape Bisbee

The main fish is Blue or Black marlin over 300lbs, that's where the big money is. There is a bill fish release division and a game fish division for Tuna and Dorado. You can enter as many or few categories as your budget will bear.

    East Cape Bisbee

We had a pretty good time at this year's East CapeBisbee with Outcast Sportfishing. Our captain Jesus "Chuy" Cota and deck hand Andres "The Assasin" Cota put me and my team mates Butch "broke back" Rowse and "Merciless" Mike Abraham on a fine Dorado big enough to sweep the Dorado game fish...

Watch out what you wish for

Saw my first swordfish yesterday but couldn't get him to go. Went out and found a school of porpoise with no other boats around so I snuck up on them and put up the kite. I have been reluctant to try the kite when other boats are around because I really don't know how to fly it and I didn't want...

Watch out what you wish for

Thanks for the advice Tony, I haven't had the opportunity to target one yet. Locals usually throw live or stunned bait to them down here, they say that the swordies are lazy and will go after a stunned or dead bait before they will chase a healthy one. I don't know if any of that is true but if...

Watch out what you wish for

Wish you had been here too bro, could have used some back up. My neighbor caught one 315lbs day before yesterday, I'm going out tomorrow to beat it right after I check swordfish off my bucket list, they have been around too.

Watch out what you wish for

Caught a nice Yellowfin on the "Outcast" Tuesday in Buena Vista BCS, kicked my butt! 246lbs at the dock after being bled. Large natural color cedar plug, Shimano Tiagra 30W LRS with 50lb mono, Calstar 5 1/2' boat rod (way overmatched), stand up gear, 20 minutes of fun, 2 hours after that of not...
