I love the dove opener but I lay awake in bed at night, thinking about stalking another big black bear..........where is the countdown for that!

I noticed that shotgun shells are limited down here in the imperial valley , how does it look elsewhere?

Shotshells are pretty scarse in S.W. Riverside County. Need to make a trip to go get them. Every once and a while Turner's or Big 5 may have a few boxes. Need to stock up!!

Went to my local Big 5 on Friday for some slugs and saw they had a huge supply of bird loads. I got a box just to start my season collection and realized when I got home that they were "Heavy Dove Loads". Couldn't find anything online that showed the difference between Heavy and Non-Heavy. Is it as obvious as the amount of powder? They don't look like high base...
