Agree, it's sad to see these awesome businesses closing-up locations. Rubio's started small, grew profitability and expanded, hiring many that needed jobs. Then the politicians got involved, all for votes, Bernie, Pocahontas, etc... spewing corporate greed, rich CEO's...all that garbage rhetoric and passed legislation that every wage should be a *living wage*....giant lie outta Hell. Once they gained enough traction, Minimum Wage hit $15, 17.50, then $20/hr. I even hear calls for $50/hr now !!! I remember making $3.25 hour in a cabinet shop.....that just motivated me to do better myself, go to college, make life sacrifices etc.... Now we're in a giant toilet, with higher wages, higher prices... until the economy flushes into a crash. I'm convinced this is all done on purpose.

Their reasoning behind the $20/hour is to collect more taxes, that's IT, nothing else. In their short sightedness, they didn't take into account the number of jobs that would be loss because of the pay raise there by reducing revenue in the form of taxes. You can't fix stupid.

Same with the gas tax, more people driving electric cars EV, so they are getting less gas tax, shot them selves in the foot.

I recently read an article about a bill in the assy. aimed at a driving tax. I think they want to start charging drivers/mile to make up for loss of revenue from lower gas sales. One way or the other the libs. will shove it up our ass and smile while doing so. They never saw a tax they didn't like.

They are also floating the idea of tying your monthly utility bill to your income. And raising the sales tax. And raising the gasoline tax. And tying our vehicle license fees to your income. If I weren't tied to CA, and if I were younger and liked to hunt and fish and enjoyed my freedom and freedom from high taxes, I'd be out of here in a nanosecond.

I am still diametrically opposed to this FEE/TAX, just to pay for others electrical bill's, (low Income/illegals). I already paid my FAIR SHARE, paying SDGE inflated rates, then purchased solar and now they tell me I am NOT paying my FAIR SHARE. Socialist Pigs. This state is going to implode.
