Well I'm done in NM for the year (still have 4 Az hunts). Finished 50%,could have easily been 100% but I can't shoot for em!!! Here's a pic of the latest bull on a muzzleloader hunt we shot at 40 yds. The rut is in full swing. The rain and feed had elk as spread out as much as you will ever see. Made for some tough hunting conditions,a bull with cows with no other bulls around won't bugle!! But we made the best of it...

Units 10,15,and the 16s.all of our hunts are on public land. But NM is unique in that you can hunt some private land. And that depends on whether the landowner has chosen to remain pvt with their tags or open up to public by going unit wide with their tags. Did I confuse you?
